Travel Through Time And Get To Know The Ancient Sea Creatures Of Alabama

What Kinds Of Aquatic Animals Inhabited The Seas In The Past?

Aquariums don’t only showcase fish that are found at seas and rivers in our day and age. They also display exhibits informing us of which creatures have existed in the past. Most of the time, fossils are shown in order to give visitors an image of what these creatures looked like when they were alive. At McWane Science Center, there is a special exhibit dedicated to the ancient sea creatures found in Alabama.

If you compare these creatures, you’ll see that they’re totally larger than those found at the seas. I was actually overwhelmed when I found the remains of a fish whose size my height doubled! At the same time, they have on display one of the most dangerous aquatic creatures back then. They called in the Mosasaur. Guests who get to see its jaws will be thankful that it doesn’t exist in this day and age.

Basically, there are other creatures which are shown in the exhibit. Despite the fact that the demonstration is filled with only the bones left behind by these animals, it’s still a hit among tourists. It’s definitely great to learn about how Alabama’s oceans were like in the past. Studying about this will make people realize how interesting marine life is. At least, this is what I think.

Use Discount Coupons To Visit More Aquariums For Knowledge

When I visited this exhibit, I saw how many children stood in awe as they gazed upon the bones before them. It’s amazing how the science center have created this in order for the kids of the current generation can behold them. This is what I love about museums, zoos and aquariums; they bring people closer to knowledge.

There are a lot of things to explore in the science center. People will get to travel through time in this sanctuary of information. Although these types of place may seem costly, thanks to discount coupons for aquariums and zoos, people are able to access them without spending too much. Anyway, I will make sure to find more coupons and invest more time in going to these establishments so I can learn about, not only those creatures that are alive, but those that once inhabited our world.
